B&B in a historic and charming countryhouse with a cosy garden

This charming and intimate B&B with a flower garden is situated in the historical village Mandas, in the heart of Sardegna between the Barbagia and Campidano region.
The ideal place for a getaway from the city life.
The country house of the 1600s, once a staging post, was turned into a guesthouse run by a family passionate about their country and traditions.
Nice to know is that it once accommodated the English writer D.H Lawrence and his wife Frieda in 1921.

The B&B offers elegant suites with antique wooden floors and stone walls.
A daily fresh breakfast is served in the dining room, but our advise is for you to consider it your home during your stay, there’s an open kitchen at your disposal and a living room with different lounge corners with a cosy fireplace to cocoon by during colder days.

The hosts are happy to advice you on things to do in the area as it is full of nice surprises one doesn’t immediately think of whilst imagining a holiday in Sardegna. The region is known for it’s authenticity in hilly nature and (agri)culture.
It’s the ideal place to discover and savour Sardinian dishes and ancient artisan traditions.

THE village Mandas IS LOCATED NEARBY THE VILLAGE WHERE MARGERITA’S FAMILY GREW UP AND WHERE HER ‘NONNO’ WAS ONE OF THE KNOWN SHEPHERDS.
TODAY (T)HIS WAY OF LIVING HAS EVOLVED, BUT IS YET STILL PRESENT AND THAT’S WHY MARGERITA IS VERY KEEN ON PRESENTING AND MAKING YOU DISCOVER THE REGION OF HER FAMILY ROOTS.
